Founded by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in 1927 in Meda, in 1950s Italy Cassina pioneered industrial design with an entirely new approach that marked the shift from artisan to serial production. With a spirit of research and innovation, Cassina combines technology with a great tradition of craftsmanship.

How we choose the brands you find here.
We're not just retailers. We're a design studio that, to work well, needs to trust the people who make what we sell. Every brand in our catalogue goes through four filters to become one of the brands we offer.
Quality of materials, above all.
Certified woods, feather and latex padding, traceable fabrics. We touch, take apart, and request technical data sheets to offer products that last.
Consistency between form, function and designer.
We look for brands with a clear direction, able to combine design and beauty without giving up functionality and reliability
Italian or European production, traceable.
We visit the workshops. We know who assembles, who sews, who finishes. Most of our brands produce within a thousand kilometres of Cuneo.
Serious after-care, real spare parts.
A sofa is bought once, but lived with every day. That's exactly why we offer ongoing support with repairs or replacements, even beyond the warranty.

Can't find your brand?
When a brand isn't enough, we design the piece ourselves.
We work with carpenters, upholsterers and stonemasons to create bespoke furniture: an oversized table, a bookcase that follows the slope of the roof, a modular sofa for a room that doesn't exist yet.
